Fiber optic temperature sensing represents a powerful breakthrough in the monitoring of major assets around the globe.

Advanced optical sensing technology is harnessed to deliver fast, accurate, high-resolution measurements in real time.

Temperature measurements better than 1ºC are delivered and internal calibration supported by remote testing capability provides proof of accuracy on all our systems.

Fiber optic sensor cable delivers measurements across the entire surface of the asset and can cover up to 120Km from a single control unit.  Multiple units can be linked to provide additional monitoring capability and integrated into system networks

Laser light pulses generated within our control units are launched into the optical fiber.  As the light pulse encounters temperature features along the fiber, the pattern of back-scattered light is analyzed to provide a real time temperature footprint.
